Brother Spurgy

We met Pastor Spurgeon Babu on line several years ago and have talked many times by telephone. Brother Spurgy lives out in the country in southern India and is not able to get to internet access on a regular basis; he has to travel several kilometers in order to get to a place where there is internet; often traveling by foot. Like all the wonderful brothers and sisters that we have fellowship with, Brother Spurgy and his wife Latha are precious family who are working for the Kingdom of God in extremely difficult and often dangerous situations. Their dedication and commitment to the Faith and the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus is truly inspiring.

As I was praying to the Father about expanding our giving to our mission outreach in India; the Holy Spirit spoke to me that here, with my dear friend Brother Spurgy was the place to invest in the Kingdom work. So; in January of 2010, we added Brother Spurgy's ministry to our Missions Support. We don't send much, but we do what God allows through His blessings.

When he is able and can, Brother Spurgy will be sending us updates on his work and ministry in Southern India and we'll update his page. I trust that you will be blessed and encouraged by our dear precious Brother , family, and ministry for Jesus. Please remember to pray for them all.

First of all we all give thanking to God that the lord has heard our poor continue hard prayers of our dear Orphan children and poor cooking woman. That you have realize the very need and considered our humble request towards of children.

Yes, since the Orphanage starting we are using fire wood oven only. Now 27 dear poor orphan children are in our home. It is very very difficult and hard to cook food with fire wood.

And some days it is taking long time to cook the food and it will be vary late to get the food to our children in time, so that they are losing the school too.

First we finds the fire wood like collect in some places. In rainy and winter time it is very trouble to have fire wood too. And we placed the different types the oven as the wind blows. For years we are praying for the GAS STOVE with GAS CYLENDERS.

Dear beloved BRITT

I too praying for that and I am unable to cop up with what I have now with the Orphanage

The cost of Gas stove and the cylinder will be 12,000/rs. And I too collected some rupees which are little for this regard.

We Pray and hoping in god that lord would be touches your kind heart and the blessed donors to whom you said with loving heart would move with mercies .

My precious Man of God and a blessed servant hood friend in His service that I am asking you deep apologize you for my long delay of my letter, Due to the evangelism tour to Guntur district for some days where is my bible college met doing god’s work among the very Hindu people , and there we have evangelism work in day time and in time we conducted open air gospel meeting. It was tremendous days that the lord has used us mightily and gloriously for His name.

On 14^th Monday ,November 2011 we had blessed Pastors fellowship Meeting which has been having every month without fail. Really our dear pastors comes and attend every month at once at a pastor in different place, that we get together and first we will have prayers one by one and after that meditate the word of god then will have a meal Or snacks that what the lord prepare and provide for us. And then again we discuss some of the family and ministry problems and difficulties etc.

Dear precious Friend in His service, This Pastors fellowship meeting was started prayerfully in 2000 year.

Really, till today it has been having with the help of God and the prayers of many like you and the great zeal and love to be as unity among the pastors and every meeting day will be the very happy day to attend to our fellowship meeting in our pastors too.

Now our fellowship pastors are above 50 would come every month without fail please consider and remember them in your daily valuable prayers.

In our Last fellowship meeting there is a very pitiful incident occurred to a poor dear pastors who attended.

Pastor name is Joseph , he comes from 15 km from a village. while I am preaching the word of God middle of the time he came then I little bit quarrel on him to attend the meeting come early and should have the time sense though he is old and aged and senior pastor too.

After meeting finished again I went to him and asked forgiveness of my anger on him and again I asked him that why you came late then he showed his Old bicycle which was broken and he just came by walk and attended our meeting.

Then I was very very sad of me and again I asked him deep forgiveness he was also happy with me. The very hour the lord has inspired me to purchase him a new bicycle.

Dear my precious BRITT, as I got your loving kind gift $ 75

Immediately I went to bicycle shop and bought and brought a NEW BICYCLE for him and given to him, praise be to god. Please find the pictures.

When you give it to them, they gather it up,

When you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things

Really, your prayers and fellowship is very needed to us in this hard crisis times. And we never close our daily prayers without remembering you all that whenever we knee in the presence of the lord.

Precious in Christ love, Please do remember in your prayers and consider this request in your loving kind….. that is…for the last 7 years in our Orphanage food cooking by the fire wood oven …. it is very very hard to cook the food with fire woods in some seasons it is unable to do so. That we are praying to lord to provide a Gas stove to cook food for the children. We hope in the lord you would remember this need in your daily valuable prayers.
