INDIA IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS; THE GOSPEL OF LOVE.

DEEPLY ENTRENCHED IN HINDU, ISLAMIC, AND PAGAN RELIGIONS; CHRISTIANS ARE VIEWED AND TREATED AS LESS THAN THE LOWEST CLASS OF PEOPLE; OFTEN STONED, SHUNNED, AND PHYSICALLY ATTACKED IN MANY OF THE TRIBAL AREAS.

THE NEED IS GREAT AND BROTHER JOHN IS IN THE TRENCHES OF

THE WARFARE, ON THE FRONT LINES OF THE GOSPEL. HE URGENTLY NEEDS OUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT AS THE HOLY SPIRIT DIRECTS YOU.

BROTHER JOHN TRAVELS AROUND TO THE TRIBAL AREAS IN SOUTHERN INDIA SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS. HE IS OFTEN ABUSED, SPAT ON, VANDALIZED, STONED, BEATEN, AND RUN OFF BY THE LOCAL PEOPLE BECAUSE OF HIS FAITH;

YET, IN LOVE,
HE CONTINUES TO SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS.

HE HAS SUFFERED AND SACRIFICED MUCH FOR THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM, GIVING UP A SECULAR CAREER IN MUSIC AND TAKING OVER THE MINISTRY BEGAN BY HIS FATHER; Rev. K.P.V. Ratnam.

THE EXTENT OF BROTHER JOHN'S MINISTRY IS FAR REACHING AND ENCOMPASSES MUCH MORE THAN HIS STREET MINISTRY INTO TRIBAL AREAS. BROTHER JOHN AND HIS TEAM ARE COMMITTED TO THE SPREAD OF GOD’S LOVE, EMULATING THE WORKS OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS. THEY GIVE MUCH TO THE POOR AND WIDOWS; AT LEAST AS MUCH AS THEY ARE ABLE WITH THEIR LIMITED RESOURCES: RESOURCES OF FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, COMFORT, AND THE GOSPEL OF JESUS; OFTEN GOING WITHOUT ANY SORT OF PERSONAL COMPENSATION OR SALARY THEMSELVES.

IN ADDITION, THEY HOUSE, FEED, EDUCATE, AND DISCIPLE SOME FIFTY ORPHAN CHILDREN. PROVIDING A CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT FOR THESE
CHILDREN WHO WOULD OTHERWISE
BE HOUSED IN GOVERNMENT FACILITIES AND INDOCTRINATED
IN THE HINDU RELIGION
WITHOUT HOPE; WITHOUT KNOWING THE LOVE OF JESUS; WITHOUT SALVATION.

AT ONE TIME, BROTHER JOHN AND HIS TEAM WERE PROVIDING FOR 150 CHILDREN, BUT AFTER THE TERRORIST ATTACKS OF “9/11”; THE INDIA GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED LARGE INDEPENDENT GATHERINGS SUCH AS THE CHRISTIAN CONCERTS THAT BROTHER JOHN AND HIS MINISTRY TEAM USED TO PUT ON TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE ORPHANS. THEY ALSO BEGAN MAKING IT HARDER ON CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATIONS TO KEEP CHILDREN AND BEGAN TO REQUIRE THEM TO DOCUMENT INCOME FOR THE PROVISION OF THE CHILDREN A YEAR IN ADVANCE – SO; THE GOVERNMENT CLOSED DOWN THE ORPHANAGE; MAKING NO PROVISION; AND HAVING NO UNDERSTANDING OF “LIVING BY FAITH”; “STANDING ON FAITH”; “TRUSTING THE LORD GOD TO PROVIDE EVERY NEED”. THE CHILDREN WERE SENT TO GOVERNMENT HINDU RUN FACILITIES OR TO HINDU FAMILIES.

BROTHER JOHN AND HIS MINISTRY WORKERS ARE TRYING TO REACH OUT AND HELP AS MANY OF THEIR PEOPLE AS THEY CAN. IT IS NOT AN EASY TASK. THEY CURRENTLY HAVE BROUGHT BACK SOME OF THE CHILDREN; AND ARE RE-ESTABLISHING THEIR MINISTRY OUTREACH IN THE AREA TO ORPHAN CHILDREN.

WHEN WE RECEIVE THE PROFILES OF THE CHILDREN IN OUR BROTHER'S CARE; WE WILL POST THE INFORMATION FOR YOU. MAIL IS SLOW AND SOMETIMES GETS DIVERTED OR DESTROYED FROM CHRISTIAN GROUPS. AT BEST, IT MAY TAKE 8 TO 10 WEEKS TO RECEIVE MAIL FROM INDIA; AND OFTEN IT MUST BE RE-SENT.

Among his ENDEAVORS, Brother John has started several Discipleship schools in outlaying tribal areas; training up local youths and VILLAGERS to spread the Gospel of jesus. pray for these students that god will give them strength, courage, wisdom, protection, and power in the holy spirit. if you want to help support and encourage these new believers, let us know; god will certainly bless you for your love and prayers.

SpiritWindMinistries has partnered with Brother John and formed our mission outreach to the people of India. We financially and prayfully support our dear brother’s work and faithfulness to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in his homeland. One of our main outreach ministries is to the orphaned children of India.

There are thousands and thousands of orphans throughout the nation of India. Many live on the streets, many are taken and sold in to slavery and child pornography; many

are put into Hindu run government orphanages and taught the Hindu religion and anti-Christianity. I have had contact with over 30 different native pastors from India; all of which have a ministry of caring for orphaned children; providing food, shelter, clothing, education, and spiritual training in the Gospel of Jesus.

The stories that I have heard simply melted my heart for these children; children who through no fault of their own are indeed on their own. My heart cried for these children and I made a promise to my dear Brother John, that I would share this need with others and seek for their help in providing for as many of these children as we can.

At one time, brother John’s ministry provided for 150 children. Unfortunately, financial and governmental circumstances made it impossible for them to keep the children. Right now our Brother has access to around 50 children in

need of care and the compassion of Believers so that they may be provided for in their destitute condition. They need daily food, clothing, shelter, education, and

spiritual guidance in the Gospel of Love ~ the Gospel of Jesus. They need your help.

We are doing all that we can; our resources are limited. Currently, we are working on putting together the profiles and stories of these children. Pastor John cannot send all this information over the internet, he must pay for use of the scanner and computer; the cost would be prohibitive. Regular mail in India is extremely unreliable and it takes some time for mail to get through, providing the Hindu’s in the Postal Service allow the Christian literature to go through at all. We have had several instances of mail not getting through in the past.

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father,inherit the kingdom prepared for youfrom the foundation of the world. ³⁵‘ForI was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me somethingto drink;I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; ³⁶ naked, and you clothed Me;

I was sick, and youvisited Me;I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ ³⁷ “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? ³⁸ ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ³⁹ ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ ⁴⁰“ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you,to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

For just $1.00 a day, a LOVE GIFT of just $30.00 a month, you can help our Brother and his ministry team in India provide food, clothing, shelter, education, and the gift of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for an orphan child in India; help to take a child off the streets, help keep a child from being indoctrinated in the Hindu religion and anti-Christian teachings, help provide for daily sustenance for a child; reach out in love as we are commanded by the Word of God to those less fortunate than ourselves.

God tells us in His Word how important children are to Him. If they are important to our Father, shouldn’t they be important to us also?

Please Pray concerning this and see if the Holy Spirit might release you to reaching out to these precious children; such a small amount for such a tremendous return!!
